Ferritic Stainless Steel is so named because it's basic crystal or molecular structure is the same as iron at room temperature. The ferritic group has a better resistance to high temperature corrosion than martensitic steels but less than austenitic types.

It is inspected 100% and we can guarantee the material will be free of dents, scratches and physical inclusions. Whilst not all of the material has been tension levelled we will only supply material up to the standards expected by the Photo Chemical Machining Institute.
