Health & Safety Policies

Our following Health and Safety Policy Statement meets the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, which came info force on 1st April 1975 and the MAnagement of Health and Safety and Welfare of persons at work and for protecting others against risk to health and safety arising from activities of persons at work.

Datum Alloys Ltd's policy is to give the hightest priority to safeguarding the health and safety of employees and many members of the public who may be affected by its operations.  The achievement of the objectives of the Health and Safety policy, which identifies responsibilities and describes the organisation and the arrangements for implementations, is of primary importance to the well being of all employees.

All employees of Datum Alloys Ltd have a personal responsibility to prevent injury and loss to themselves and a duty of care to others.  The need to ensure high standards of health and safety calls for continued commitment and concentrated effort.

The Health and Safety Policy and associated procedures, issued by the managing director, will be kept under review and will be revised as and when necessary.  Any revisions, if approved, will be brought to the attention of all employees through the normal channels for Health and Safety consulation.
