Enviromental Policies

As of 2nd January 2002, Datum Alloys Ltd has made a strong commitment to ensure that its operations take into account the possible impact on the environment.  Our business premises are situated in the South Hams, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.  Datum Alloys Ltd is therefore committed to ensuring that it keeps to the Policy Statement, written below:

Ensuring that all relevant environmental legislation & regulation are complied with

Reducing energy usage by increased energy efficiency

Using raw materials in a manner that reduces waste

Raising the awareness of all employees so that everyone will be involved

Operating the business in an environmentally sensitive manner

Communication of Policy to our employees and the general public

The Policy will be kept up to date, particularly as the business changes in nature and in size.

To ensure this, the policy and the way in which it has operated will be reviewed on an annual basis. 

Datum Alloys recently started asking customers to store any sheet pallets and boxes to be returned to us.
