Our Products - A list of the alloys we can supply in coil, sheet, plate and bar.

Datum Alloys stocks and sources a large range of stainless steel in sheet and coil form which can be used for the stencil and/or etch industry. In addition to this we offer bar, plate and billet in a range of controlled expansion nickel iron alloys; stock, and can slit and tag, pure nickel and/or nickel plated mild steel for battery tags.

Products for Laser Cutting and Etching

All our stock material is available with a width of 610mm and can be supplied either as cut sheets or in coil.

In most cases we can ship on the day we receive your order, offering a next day delivery service within the UK and 3-4 working days for delivery in Europe.

  • Datum Laser PhD is a 304SS and has been designed to enhance the cutting properties of stainless steel and increase the longevity of a stencil's lifespan
  • Datum Fine Grain is a 301SS and has been designed to enhance the etching properties of regular stainless steel
  • Datum Delta has all the properties of Datum Laser PHD in order to enhance it's cutting properties, but is a very thin foil, with thicknesses starting from 0.020mm

We stock, and have the processing capabilities to slit and tag either pure nickel or nickel plated mild steel for battery tags.
